Le Melbourne Documentary Film Festival (MDFF) crée, projette et présente plus de documentaires de qualité chaque année que tout autre festival de films documentaires en Australie et donne à de nombreux cinéastes indépendants une chance de concourir et de projeter leur film devant un grand public réceptif à Melbourne. Le Melbourne Documentary Film Festival (MDFF) recherche des films qui n'ont pas été montrés auparavant en Australie.
